New job is new.
Or rather, new job is much the same but a lot closer. My travel time has gone from around 90 - 110 minutes to about 10 - 15 minutes bike ride, often including getting Subway breakfast on the way. Mmm, bacon and egg sub for breakfast.

The job is much the same, a lot less tock to put out though and a larger focus on keeping the place clean and selling. Commission is signicifantly higher as well as base pay. All the staff are lovely too, same as my old store! The transition is going across rather nicely.

I'm in Comms/Tech, meaning I sell mobile phones, PDAs, GPS units, cameras, MP3 players, toys, power boards and the like. Basically all the stuff that couldn't fit into Computers, Music, Gaming or Entertainment. It's a lot of fun, I'm really enjoying my job! The energy I'm getting from the extra sleep is wonderful too. I still need to have a Samedi normally to get me through but I'm decreasing the amount of that stuff I have. Bringing my usual ham and cheese sandwiches from home too. For the first week I ate KFC and nothing but though, ohhhh yeah. I'm working weekends again which is gonna suck a little but the extra pay will be nice.

Many other new things happened to me apart from this one! Luka and I went to Harvey Norman and I purchased a new fridge, as mine died on Christmas day. Worth 1700, nabbed it for 1200 inc. delivery. It is a nice fridge, side by side and frostfree. Good old Samsung glory. Holds alcohol good.

What doesn't hold it good though is me. New Years Eve I stupidly tried to play the Wild Zero drinking game. I then woke up in bed, complete memory loss as to what happened. I didn't do aything stupid however I was apparently teabagged. Sigh. >_> Brought it upon myself, damn Guitar Hero! Apart from that though before I drank I had a great time! Lovely to see people like AmyRose again! Met a stack of new faces also. Oh, I also rode in a boot of a car the day after. Twice. About time the TV function on my phone came in handy.

Christmas was a nicer celebration. Spent the day with Hope up at her place, watching Doug Anthony All Stars and relaxing. I really do miss the amount of relaxing I did at that place. Need to visit them more and with the bike it's actually not too hard. Ride home is a pain but the ride there is child's play. Downhill all the way!

Recently Leanne and Ken, friends of mine have visited me from Perth! They're down for another week or so still and we've been showing them around. Clyde's taking them out tomorrow, I took them out to many places over the last couple of days. We didn't get to do as much as planned however had a great time nevertheless. Also purchased myself a few things from Shibuya (Shall upload shortly) as well as trying some of the local Japanese restaurants. Or more I know they're good, so gonna make them eat there. Meiji and Ajisen are the places they've tried so far. Still need to take them to Kimurakan.

Also took Leanne to Vedette for the Heresy v Black Widow event. Was a lot of fun, met some new faces and had a good time. Cab home was a little pricey ($50) but apart from that was great. Clyde was with us too of course!

Not too much else to report. Simply put...

-New job is awesome
-Bought new stuff from Shibuya
-Bought fridge
-Drank too much on NYE
-Christmas was awesome and relaxing
-Leanne and Ken are down, showing them awesome shit. It's pretty awesome.

Sorry if this is a little odd, I'm dead tired and rushing it.

On that note, washing is done... And it seems my work pants have been annihilated. Crap.

It was wonderful seeing you too, Bradski :3 Sorry I didn't reply to your SMS the other day, I ran out of credit! But I went into the city yesterday and spent a lot of money on a wonderful pair of zebra-print creepers, so life's not all bad. Now I have the be thrifty as hell, because I don't go back to work for another week, lol.

If it makes you feel better, the only teabagging photo was on my camera, and I deleted it :P
