| Well, finally upgraded my phone. Got sick of the slow OS on the W910i so I finally bit the bullet and purxhased an iPhone 3GS 32 GB. I'm actually very happy with the phone, it does all I need it to but I'm sure there is more to explore. The only concern I have is I may not use all the cap I have. Perhaps this is just a sign to be more social or something I don't know. I do miss being close to the city and close to my friends. But I can whittle away on this a little now I suppose. I'm actually posting this from my iPhone using the LiveJournal app. Keyboard is easy to use. Oh we came second at the Guitar Hero comp, so no Tivo but oh well. | Occasionally you have those nights where you remember so much and clasp onto it so tightly, vowing never to forget it. So many memories flash through your eyes so quickly, it's hard to process them all at once. Yet there they are, making me smile. Making me silently cry, wishing I had more to remember. But, all I have is what I have now. It needs to be treasured and held onto tightly.
The funeral is running through my head so strongly. The words I spoke, the tears that left me and stained the floor beneath me. Tears of sadness for losing the most important person, yet tears of happiness for being privileged with all the memories I could share with those in the room. Memories I continue to share with people to this day, memories that continue to run through my head and make me push that little extra distance. To never give up and to stand for what you believe in.
Mother, your soul shall always be with me and I'll always strive to be the best I can. Let that raging fire never burn out.

| I'm gonna start using that as my weekend topic all the time. My own little tribute to Jones in the Fast Lane
Went out to a party Friday night, was a blast. Drank a little with friends, stayed at another friends house and generally partied hard. Good times, good times.
Today was spent at QV doing nothing of great significance. Oh, I went to the Model Expo as well however that was frankly probably a waste of my money and time. It was well presented but just not quite what I was after.
Ah, also have poured any free time I have into Star Ocean 4. If you don't have that game yet, why not? Go and get it, brilliant title! Dungeon Crawl should have it in and hopefully in Collectors as well!

I should have probably gone to the MOC meeting today. There's too many things that are just riling me. If I'm not working, I should start showing up if I'm able. People are probably not gonna like me there though, I'm a _completely_ different person when it comes to business. XDD As much as I love everyone outside of MOC meetings, in them I'm pretty much hating on everyone. Imagine my mother's personality. Business Brad = Mother's personality. It's rather entertaining to watch if you haven't seen me get irritated before but it gets the job done. Sitting around having a tea party and happy little debates won't solve shit, need pressure and to get the point across.

| I wound up working at Eastland on Sunday, was a nice change. I really miss working at a small store and it's completely different. No complaints whatsoever and the customers there are awesome. Infact, one of them came to Knox today just to see me and bought a laptop as Eastland didn't have it.
They have my number and told me they'll call if they need shifts, they seemed to like my work! I didn't know I could work at smaller stores though. So yeah, hear that Glen/Box Hill/Forest Hill? I can cover if you need me to! =D Hell, even Preston I'll take shifts at. I don't mind doing the travel every now and again to work with such a great team again.
Still settling into Knox one step at a time, Kevin is still a champ but I still feel really uneasy. >_<

| Last night at laser tag was awesome - Came third out of 23 in the first game, first in the second game. Whee! I've still got it!
On a different note, I hate working weekends. My body clock is so out of it. Additionally like today I'm stuck around Knox for an hour before work even opens. >_> Luckily, I have some time left on the Internet cafe here.
Not much else to do though while I wait around. I will be getting my receiver today though, yeah! And if someone's kind enough from work to give me a lift home, some speakers along with it. We'll see about that last part I guess.
Next week is a simple week, not too much to do. Work, live, breathe, Gundam. xDD

| Well, it's that wonderful day. People return products, and generally the store was dead. I'm settling in slowly and found a few new awesome people to talk to on the weekend staff. Brent and Nick in Comms are champions and I'm getting along well with Jack in computers too. The others I'm still warming up to but overall they're all nice people. =D

That said on a note it is Mothers Day, it's been a year and a month since mine passed away.
A lot has changed in that year, there's been so many new experiences. I've moved twice, changed job location twice, brought a little brother under my wing and become a whole lot more independant for it.
I'm eating a lot more than I was when my mother passed away. Trying to look after myself with a little more care due to the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I must admit it's gotten worse lately however I'm striving to get around that.
Most importantly though mentally I've recovered in bounds. When my mother passed away I was a total wreck, yet had so many lovely friends help me along the way to make sure I was okay and to try to bring me back to strong spirits. Some of them have really grown to be like family to me, others alas I don't talk to anymore. I really miss those I no longer talk to (Like Karen, Yij and Lexis) as they got to know me RIGHT during the worst time of my life and frankly were treated horribly. They didn't get to know the happy, 'more stable' version of me as many of you have gotten to know over the years. I've seen them at conventions and all over the place yet I'm always too shy to properly converse with them because I don't want to offend them or make them feel uncomfortable.
I've become a lot more outgoing and stronger personality wise yet I'm still shy in a few ways. Sure, I've done various things like chased up more acting/production stuff, joined FetLife, made many more strong (hopefully inseperable) friendships and gone out there to really be myself but ultimately I'm still a shy person in some ways. Some things I just can't do yet.
I still have so much to go ahead of me, so many ways I want to improve. So many things I want to try and to explore. However, I'm getting there one step at a time. I haven't given up on anything nor do I plan to.
I guess the best Mothers Day gift I can give my mother is the fact that I am still going strong, and I haven't given up as I promised her I never would. Because I haven't, and I never plan to no matter the odds.
And consider this a reminder...
All those that really helped me during my mother's passing, thank you so much for being there and continuing to be there. Without you lot, I wouldn't be the person I am now. I'd certainly be a lot worse for wear and probably not able to bear with the role of taking care of Coen.
And for those I no longer talk to, I really miss each and every one of you. You're all still special to me even after all this time because of the actions you did. Actions I'm forever grateful for. | Well, I've worked a few shifts at Knox now. There's a lot of differences. Some I like, most I don't but ah well.
A quick list
Pros
-Hogs Breath for lunch
-Right in the heart of a shopping center, so stuff to do
-Within walking distance of a bank
-Still working with Apple-Chris and Caldwell from Box Hill DSE
-Very close to home
However, that's about all there is that are pros
Cons
-I don't feel I fit in AT ALL. There's only a few staff I actually talk to, everyone else I pretty much avoid. I'm a very social person yet I feel so unwelcome.
-It's HEAVILY sales/warranty oriented due to the sheer competition, I feel absolutely pressured. I know how to sell yet because I'm not used to dropping my pants and discounting I don't sell very much.
-The store is run so different I feel I have to learn everything again, even though I already know it. It'a almost like I'm being treated like a child.
-Had my shifts cut majorly
-Working weekends constantly and working Friday nights
It was a sheer bitch to get Mon - Fri and that's just gone out the window. Yet, because of what small shifts I'm getting I'm taking what I can get. It'll only be like this until end of financial and I know that but even so.
But yeah, basically everything around the store is nice, but when it comes to the store itself I feel really uncomfortable and unwelcome. I don't like it one bit. I'm probably just warming into the place but even so I feel like people are breathing down my neck horribly.
I miss the attitude and customers at Preston and I miss all the staff at Preston greatly, I really enjoyed being able to relate to pretty much everyone there and be able to talk to them and trust them with anything. At Knox, even though Chris tells me it's heavily team based I don't feel I can trust 95% of the team as far as I can throw them.
I should consider this a lesson, a good workplace is worth travelling hours to. But, health first. I may not like the place as much but at least my health will improve for it. That said, already called in sick once because of my CFS. But moving is done, transfer is done, it's all done. Perhaps now I'll be able to relax and just focus on work. Now, we need an artist for it. Note, this is no minor project but infact a big one. You want into the games industry as an artist of sorts? Well, this may be your shot to do so!

| Alright, I've moved house. Given the keys back and the lot of it.
Moved quite a distance however, I'm in Bayswater now. Talked to my manager about transferring to Knox, might happen. Infact, I'm at work right now at like 8 in the morning because my manager gave me a lift in (lives down Bayswater way also). Not used to being up at 6:30 but hey, just like old times eh? >_> I really don't want to transfer as I love the place I work at now, all the staff are wonderful people and I just have a blast with all of them however living so far away I don't really have a choice.

Not much else new to report, just unpacked my entire room and bought a few new things. We have no power in the house so I'll be offline for a couple of days unless I'm at work where I can abuse the power charge things up and stay online much like I'm doing now.
46" LCD fits in my bedroom rather comfortably, infact I quite like my bedroom now! I haven't placed Cody's bed in there yet but it'll happen soon. When it does it'll lose a LOT of room but hey, the boy needs to sleep somewhere.

| Sent in an application today for a property we saw on Saturday. Holy crap this property was awesome, noone else has applied so far either so I do hope we get it. The Property Manager is also an awesome person who Andrew and I spent a while talking to at the inspection and I did today also.
I wanted to get out more applications however the photocopier at work is broken, thus making that rather hard. Seems all our eggs are in one basket at the moment. That said, I'm very confident on getting this place!
If we do, then the procedure begins of moving however its right near here and closer to work. Noone's lived in it before, brand spankin' new!
Otherwise, nothing new to report as per usual. Just relaxing as usual, had a four hour nap because I felt very drowsy all of a sudden... Again. >_<;;
I can't wait to move though, I want to be able to enjoy the new kitchen and cook up a storm of wonderful food, I miss doing that. I love cooking for people. Might have a small dinner party when we move and let people try that awesome pasta sauce I keep mentioning. =D (Leah, you may or may not have given me this idea :P)
